Situated right on the seafront, Sandcastles Guest House offers a prime location for those looking to enjoy the beach and take in the beautiful coastal views. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with themed bed linen adding a nice touch. The friendly owner provides a warm welcome and the breakfast options are excellent, served in a bright and airy breakfast room.

The mattresses in the rooms could benefit from being softer, perhaps with the addition of memory foam or a mattress topper.

I recently stayed at a guest house by the beach and had a fantastic time. The location was excellent, just a short 2-minute walk to the beach. Joanne, the host, was lovely and provided us with plenty of information on things to do in the area. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities. The breakfasts were large and delicious, offering a variety of options. it was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely go back.

The shower in our room had poor water pressure and was difficult to control the temperature, making it challenging for children to use. Parking was also limited and finding a space was a bit difficult, especially when returning from a day trip.
