I had a delightful stay at this hotel, located right on the sea front. The view from my room was breathtaking, with the beach just a stone's throw away. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms had a charming character. But the highlight for me was the bed - by far the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I woke up feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead. The breakfast was also a treat, with an attentive waitress serving up delicious cooked eggs and toast.

All was perfect, I couldn't fault a thing.

The value for money at Sandcliff Guest House was great! The room was cosy and had a nice view of the ocean. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the train station, town, zoo, and pier. The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to be helpful, even storing my pushchair for me.

The Sandcliff is a great value guest house with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The beds are comfortable with crisp, white linens that make for a good night's sleep. The shower provides hot water and the towels are soft. The coastal decor adds a nice touch to the room. The breakfast options are excellent, with a variety of choices including fruit, cereals, and a delicious cooked breakfast. The homemade marmalade is a must-try. On-site parking is available and there is a lovely seafront location, away from the noise of the tourists.

The location of the guest house is fantastic, being right on the beach and close to the high street and Morrison's cafe for breakfast. It's the perfect place to base yourself if you're attending a concert on the pier or just want to enjoy the seaside. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and lovely views. The room is well-stocked with tea and coffee, and there is ample storage space.

I had a brilliant stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, being right on the seafront but away from noisy tourist areas. The hotel was just a short walk, around 5 minutes, from the town centre and pier. Moreover, there were plenty of places to park at the hotel and nearby side streets.

Great sized room with comfortable beds. Shower/water pressure was clean and enjoyable. the breakfast was good value for what you got and the standard & choice was great overall.

There was no food available in the evening, but nearby options were given. Lack of en suite in some rooms meant a possible inconvenience of going down some stairs to use the bathroom.
