The value for money at the Sandhills Apartments was exceptional, and the room itself was fantastic with plenty of space for our family of four. The location, just a short walk from Avon beach, was perfect for us, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

The morning meal could be improved by providing tea towels for guests.

The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, with all the modern amenities you could ask for. the host communicated well before and during our stay, ensuring a warm welcome at reception. the festive touch at the main reception added to the holiday atmosphere.

There were a few disappointments during our stay. the cleanliness of the lodge was not up to par, with dust in the bed frame and dirty plates.

The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. the apartments were spotlessly clean and had all the necessary amenities. Furthermore, the location was great, with the beach and beachfront restaurants just a short walk away.

Although our stay was generally pleasant, we did have a few minor issues. the pillows were quite hard, and there was only enough bedding and towels for two guests instead of the three we booked for.

I loved having fluffy towels, bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries provided. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the sea front and close to local pubs and restaurants. This was a big letdown for us. Additionally, there were a few minor gripes such as the strangely laid out dressing room without an electrical point by the mirror, frustrating motion sensor lighting in the room, a slippery shower without a non-slip mat, and the absence of a draining tray next to the kitchen sink.

The location was perfect, with Mudeford Quay and Avon beach just steps away, and Christchurch with its cafes and restaurants a short drive away. Easy parking and great value for money.
