Delightful hotel with friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and convenient parking. Great location for scenic walks and close to the harbour. Clean rooms with a nice 80's vibe.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, always willing to help. the location of the hotel was convenient, being close to attractions and amenities. the room was comfortable and spacious, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring.

The lack of a lift was a major inconvenience, especially when having to carry heavy luggage up multiple flights of stairs. the internet access in the room was unreliable, despite their claims.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a lovely family-run hotel near the coast. The hotel had great attention to detail and was spotlessly clean, making for a very comfortable experience. The location was perfect, just a short stroll from the seafront and the beautiful cliffs of the Whitby area. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even catering to vegetarian preferences at breakfast. The rooms were well-appointed, with plenty of space and even a sofa to relax on. it was a great value for money and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful seaside getaway.

Dated accommodation, but extremely clean with daily maid service. Hardworking breakfast staff, great selection. Close to beaches, nice breakfast, reasonable walk to town.

As young holiday goers, we loved the variety of breakfast options and the comfortable beds at this charming hotel. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and the location was ideal for exploring the area. Great value for money!

Felt like home, no complaints.

We had a great time staying in a spacious double deluxe room with ample storage. The bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. The hotel's location was perfect – close to the main attractions, the sea, and the cliffs. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast served at the table was generous and tasty. The lounge and bar areas were comfortable, and there was a private car park available.

The stairs were a challenge for us as older guests.

We had an amazing romantic escape at this small hotel. the room we stayed in was a bit dated in style but it was immaculately clean and tidy. the staff was friendly and helpful and we even received hot breakfast served to us by the silver service team. We also enjoyed the proximity to the seafront and the bustling town center.

I had an amazing stay at the Saxonville hotel in Whitby! It was great value for my money and the room was spotless with a powerful shower. The location was perfect, just a quick 2-minute walk to the seafront. The staff were brilliant, especially in the restaurant, and the food was delicious and freshly cooked.

It can be a bit of a walk into town, about 15 minutes, as the hotel is located on the cliff top.
