We had a great stay at this charming hotel. The breakfast, served in the spacious old school room with countryside views, was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms had a bath with a shower over. We were warmly welcomed by Karen, the host, and Fred, their friendly dog, was an absolute delight. The hotel was clean, although the furniture could use a refresh. The location was convenient with ample parking. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the delicious evening meal we had prepared by Chef Tonny and the impeccable service from Karen. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was remote, which offered peace and quiet, but also a good base for exploring the area. Homemade produce for meals and one of the best breakfasts we've had were provided.

The pillows on the bed were abysmal and made our sleep restless, which was a downside. The list of things we weren't allowed to do was unnecessary and gave a negative impression.
