We had a fantastic weekend at Seacrest Guest House. The owners were very welcoming and great to chat with. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cosy bed and all the necessary facilities. The location was perfect for exploring all areas of Whitby on foot. The breakfast choices were excellent, with hot and delicious food, ample portions, and a lovely selection of fresh fruit. Room 2 was recently refurbished and had a clever use of space, offering a comfortable sofa, a sea view from the bay windows, and a warm welcome to dogs.

We had a great welcome from Allison and Andy at the guest house. They were really friendly and made us feel at home. the room was surprisingly spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable after a long day of driving. the breakfast had a good variety of options and was delicious. the location was convenient and we appreciated the tea and coffee provided in the room, as well as the towels and TV. We also received a permit for cheaper parking, which was a nice bonus. the view from the room across Whitby to the abbey was excellent, and being able to adjust the temperature of the room was a plus. a lovely experience, especially for my 5-year-old granddaughter who loved the hotel and the specially made plate of hash browns for breakfast. the owner was also very kind and welcoming. Clean bedrooms and a 10-minute walk to anywhere in the area. Thank you for a great stay!

The family room we stayed in during Christmas was spacious and clean. the location was great, as it was close to shops and restaurants. the breakfast had a good selection of options and the cooked breakfast was delicious.

The room had a musty smell and the bathroom was a bit dated. the towels provided were not changed daily.
