The large comfortable rooms with en-suite bathrooms make for a pleasant stay. The staff went above and beyond to assist guests, offering complimentary drinks upon arrival and even carrying heavy bags up the steep staircase. the continental breakfast was plentiful and satisfying, with a variety of options to choose from.

Parking can be a bit of a hassle as it is located at the bottom of a hill and carries a fee.

I had a great two-night stay at The Shakespeare Deluxe Hotel in Halifax. The location was perfect, being right near the train station and the Piece Hall. My room, the Green Room no 28, was fantastic. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was lovely. I also loved the touch of luxury with the Ren toiletries provided. The continental breakfast had a good range of options and the friendly and helpful staff, especially Rick, made my stay even better. Despite a few minor issues, I would highly recommend this hotel. I had a wonderful experience at The Shakespeare Deluxe Hotel.
