I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming inn tucked away in the heart of a historic town. The hotel's location was perfect, right in the centre of town and just off the main street, allowing for easy access to explore the town centre. Nestled down a cobbled alleyway in converted cottages, the ambience was cozy and full of character. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms were well-equipped with all the basic amenities, including Sky TV, and I particularly enjoyed the breakfast with its delicious double yolked eggs.

All was well, no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel is conveniently located right in the middle of the town, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms. The staff is friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout the stay. The breakfast is delicious, with generous portions and a variety of options to choose from.

Some guests have reported issues with getting hot water for their showers.

Great value for money and a fantastic room with its own front door, resembling a cozy holiday cottage. The location was perfect, set back from the main road with no noise, and convenient for day trips to the Lake District. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to ensure we had a comfortable stay.

This hotel was fantastic for using as a base for sightseeing. Its location was perfect - just a 2-minute walk from the Brewery Arts Centre where we were attending a music event. The narrow entrance to the car park may pose a challenge for larger vehicles.

We recently had a business trip and stayed at a hotel that was perfectly located in close proximity to our destination. The free safe parking provided was a major advantage for us, as we were able to park our car without any worries. The parking area was spacious, secure, and quiet, allowing us to have a peaceful stay. The hotel itself was situated down a historic cobbled alleyway in old converted cottages, which added to its charm.

We had a fantastic time staying at a beautiful and welcoming inn. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. Our room was stunning, with clean and comfortable beds, fresh towels, and thoughtful touches like chocolates and toiletries. The breakfast selection was amazing, with a variety of options using delicious local produce. The inn also offered a delightful dinner menu with plenty of choices, including vegetarian and vegan options. The passion and love of the inn's owners, David and Lynne, were evident in every detail. we had an exceptional experience and can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended!

Spent xmas with family and booked a weekend stay at a hotel in a picturesque town. We enjoyed the generous breakfast and friendly staff who were very accommodating. the hotel is conveniently located near the town centre and local bars, and we loved the comfortable rooms. the icing on the cake was the beautiful views of the surrounding hills.

Although we had a lovely stay, one issue was the parking entrance, which was a bit narrow and challenging for larger cars. We also noticed that the shower was a bit small, which could be an issue for some people.

During our Christmas stay, we appreciated the warm and friendly staff who made us feel welcome. the room was clean and well-stocked with fresh towels, toiletries, and refreshments. the central location allowed us easy access to explore the beautiful Lake District. It was a plus that the hotel was undergoing updates and expanding their alcohol choices, giving us something to look forward to on future visits.

It would have been nice to have a choice of pastries, rolls, and fruits. the narrow entrance to the car park proved to be a challenging and stressful experience, especially for larger vehicles.

We had a comfortable and peaceful stay at this inn. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was very quiet, despite the live music in the pub. The family room was spacious and the shower, although not very powerful, had hot water and a good-sized cubicle. The coffee/tea making facilities were great, with a mini-fridge for milk. The breakfast included in the price was delicious, with a friendly server. The location was convenient, with many pubs within easy walking distance. Highly recommended!

We felt so at home during our stay that we have no complaints.
