I also loved the location, nestled next to a peaceful stream and surrounded by beautiful woodland. It was a truly tranquil getaway.

It truly felt like a traditional Yorkshire hospitality experience. the inn is perfectly located by a beautiful stream and woodland, and they even have a large car park. the landlord and his family take great pride in maintaining a clean and well-kept establishment, and it shows. I was so impressed that I extended my reservation to stay for four nights. it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location, although a bit out of the city centre, is surrounded by beautiful scenery and offers great walking opportunities. The hotel is impeccably clean, from the well-maintained bar to the spotless bathrooms and deep-cleaned bedrooms. The staff, particularly Paul and Tracy, were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service. We also appreciated the free parking available on-site.

The location was perfect, tucked away below an old mill and by a gently running stream, yet still within a 15-minute walk of the city centre. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The full breakfast, at an amazing value of £6.50, was freshly cooked with quality ingredients.
