We loved the little touches like a fridge stocked with milk, juice, and yogurts, as well as fruit and sweet treats. We also enjoyed the option of making our own hot drinks with plenty of tea and coffee supplied. The peaceful and picturesque surroundings made it the ideal place for a relaxing getaway.

Sheildaig Farm Balloch is situated in a very popular tourist area, surrounded by lovely tree-lined fields above the town. Guests can enjoy a bit of fun on the Loch with the peddle boats, as it is conveniently close to the centre of Balloch. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with efficient heating to warm up after a day out. The breakfast options are excellent, with a choice of cooked or continental, and the host provides generous portions. The property is exceptionally clean, and the host is friendly and accommodating.

The Wi-Fi signal at the hotel was a bit weak, although 4G connectivity worked fine, so it wasn't a major issue.
