The cleanliness of the cottage was lacking, with guests needing to clean everything before use.

Stayed at a lovely, homely cottage called Shepherds Nook. the cottage was well-equipped and in a great location, making it the perfect base for exploring Northumbria. the owners had added nice touches like a big TV, plenty of crockery, games, books, and information about the area. They even left us a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates as a welcome gift. the bedrooms were comfortable, and the cottage had free wifi and a good selection of entertainment options like books, Netflix, and Disney channels.

We had a wonderful time staying at Shepherds Nook. The location was perfect for exploring the Northumberland area, and the cottage itself was cozy and homely. The owners really went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like a big TV, lots of crockery, games, books, and even a complimentary bottle of wine and box of chocolates. The bedrooms were comfortable, and we appreciated the free WiFi.

There were a few minor drawbacks. The second bedroom's double bed was a bit too hard and uncomfortable.

Stayed at a charming holiday home, had to bring earplugs due to the delightful free WiFi throughout the property, conveniently close to the airport, Alnwick, and attractions like Chillingham Castle and Bamburgh. Parking was an exciting treasure hunt.

Parking bay identification was easier to spot than the sink plug lever. Such a thrill!
