Value for money was great, with clean and comfortable accommodation. The location was convenient, close to the cruise ship terminals and city centre. The staff, especially Monica, were extremely helpful and responsive.

Breakfast choices could be improved with a wider variety of options.

I chose Shirley House 4 for its proximity to the cruise terminal in Southampton. It was a short taxi ride away and very convenient. There were food shops and a general store nearby, so finding something to eat was easy. The beds were comfortable, and the staff kept the place spotlessly clean. The free WiFi was a bonus.

I had a fantastic stay at this guest house. The communication with the host was straightforward, and gaining access to the property was easy. The shower, toilet, and towels were all clean and in good condition. The kitchen facilities were okay, and the location was very close to the cruise port, making it convenient for travelers. The house itself was well laid out, tidy, and inviting. The beds were comfortable, and the room was lovely. The other guests were friendly, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, parking options, and proximity to the cruise port were the best aspects of my stay.
