I stayed at the charming Siam Cottage for 5 days during my walking holiday in the Cotswolds. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and close to everything. The shower had great water pressure and was easy to regulate the temperature, which is not always standard in England. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were oozing with charm, with exposed stone walls and beams. The owner was wonderful, providing helpful tips and going out of his way to assist us. The dining experience was also recommended, with delicious dishes. a great start to our Cotswolds trip!

The location was perfect, right on the main street near the train station, making it super convenient for exploring. The staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home.

The location of the guesthouse was excellent, with easy access to transportation and nearby amenities. The communication with the owner was great and they were very accommodating. The food at the Thai restaurant was absolutely delicious.

The lack of soundproofing in the rooms was a major drawback, as the floorboards were squeaky and the walls were thin. The shared bathroom being accessed via stairs was not clearly stated in the listing.

The room was not as advertised, not ensuite, and the owner initially reacted aggressively and unkindly when this was brought up. The building is old and in need of some repairs, with creaking floors and cheap decor.
