We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was cosy and had a lovely view. The hotel itself was stylish and had excellent facilities, including relaxing areas, a restaurant, and breakfast areas. We especially enjoyed sitting in the conservatory with the garden view. The service at breakfast was impeccable, with friendly and well-trained staff. The breakfast itself was very good, with plenty of options to choose from. The hotel's location in the Lake District was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful area and go for some serious walks.

We arrived before check-in time, but the friendly receptionist still accommodated us and even suggested a lovely walk route. The comfortable bed and clean bathroom made our stay enjoyable. I recently stayed at Skelwith Bridge for one night and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is spotless, well-maintained, and has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant and bar offer a great selection of food and beers. It's perfect for fell walkers, with many staying during my visit. The location is ideal for exploring Langdale, Elterwater, Coniston, and Hardknot. The staff were attentive and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommend!
