A real gem if you like old-style pubs with a fire, delightful friendly service, and good pub food. Exceptional local produce done well. They take the time to cater to guests' needs. Comfortable rooms, dog-friendly, and a great outdoor garden. Will definitely stay again.

my birthday stay at smiddy haugh in auchterarder was exceptional. from the friendly staff to the cozy atmosphere, everything exceeded my expectations. the delicious dinner and packed breakfast, along with the beautiful back garden, made for a delightful and memorable experience.

Wifi connection was unreliable.

Located in a charming area, close to the city center and with convenient public transport options nearby. the staff members were friendly and always willing to help with any queries or requests. the food in the restaurant was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. the room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay throughout.

The decor in some areas of the hotel could use a refresh, as it appeared dated and worn in places. the lack of certain amenities such as a hairdryer may inconvenience some guests.

Lovely welcome from friendly staff! the food was excellent, especially the lemon posset. Although there was a problem with the water supply, the staff provided us with bottled water and excellent service! the bed was really comfortable and the room was clean. We enjoyed befriending the dogs at the hotel. the location was ideal, just a minute from the main road and in a quiet village.

It felt more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel as they asked us to leave during the day. This made it difficult for my partner to wait while I played golf.

We had a wonderful stay at Smiddy Haugh. the owners, their dog, and the staff were all very welcoming and made us feel right at home. the room was spacious, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning, especially the full Scottish breakfast. the inn is conveniently located for visiting Glasgow, Perth, Dundee, Stirling, and Fife, so there's plenty to see and do in the area. We appreciated the owners' knowledge of the locality and their recommendations for nearby places to visit.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😊

We stayed at The Smiddy Haugh for a wedding and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms and the warm welcome from the owner. The pub had a cozy village atmosphere and our meals were top-notch. The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in early and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. The bathroom, although not ensuite, was conveniently located and provided robes. Richard and Nikki's attention to detail and the beautiful beer garden added to our enjoyable stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy pub with rooms. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us and our dogs feel right at home. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the pub, and the beergarden in the backyard was a great spot to relax. The room had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and a nice TV with a premium Sky package. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, with a good selection to choose from.

Felt like being taken care of at home, no complaints at all.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The rooms were better than expected, very clean and comfortable. The hotel facilities were great, including private parking and a lovely beer garden. The location was beautiful and scenic, perfect for exploring the surroundings. The breakfasts were beautifully presented and delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
