our little getaway in holyhead was made exceptional by the cozy and scenic stay at the green apple pod. the breathtaking views of greenery and the sea from our bed were simply beautiful. the shower was surprisingly hot and powerful, perfect after a wet walk. a comfortable bed, all necessary amenities, and a lovely outdoor seating area added to the charm.

One minor hiccup, something was missing.

The views from our accommodation were breathtaking. Despite the cold weather, the heating inside kept us warm and cozy. We would definitely return and highly recommend it.

The location felt remote but was actually just 10 minutes away from Holyhead on a decent road. The views were stunning and the host even went the extra mile by setting up a group chat to give us all the necessary details before our holiday. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

As a solo traveler, I loved the tranquil views and peaceful atmosphere of the Garden Room. The small room was perfectly turned out with a patio and high-quality provisions, including a variety of refreshments and treats. The location was ideal, within walking distance of the Ellin Tower carpark and the RSPB nature reserve at South Stacks. It was a fantastic retreat for relaxation and reconnecting with nature.

Even though the weather wasn't great during my stay, it didn't dampen my enjoyment. I would definitely return if I visit this city again.

our stay at Tan Y Cytiau villa was amazing! The Garden Room was perfect - cozy, quiet, and had everything we needed. The location was serene and remote, yet just a short drive from Holyhead. We wish we had more time to explore the lighthouse. Definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved my stay at this cozy retreat. The location is simply breathtaking, with stunning views of the sea and mountains. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable double bed and a convenient fridge. The continental breakfast provided in the room was a great touch, and the patio area was the perfect spot to enjoy it while taking in the amazing scenery. Highly recommended!

The signage at the entrance could use some improvement, as it was difficult to find the retreat after dark and in misty conditions.

tan y cytiau exceeded our expectations during our recent stay in holyhead. the property had beautiful views, a comfortable and private room, excellent shower, and great facilities. the communication with the host and housekeeper was helpful and the early check-in and provision of a hairdryer were much appreciated. we loved our mini break!
