southernhay guest house exceeded my expectations during this short visit. the recently refurbished rooms were of a high standard, and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. the location was convenient, with shops nearby and a straightforward walk to bournemouth town centre.

The room was spotless and had all the amenities we needed - comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities, and a big screen TV. The owner even offered vegetarian options for breakfast, which was a thoughtful gesture. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and high street with plenty of restaurants. We highly recommend this place for a personal and enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Southernhay Guest House in Bournemouth. The location was perfect, just a short walk through a peaceful forest to the beach. The room was clean, fresh, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a spotless ensuite bathroom. The hosts, Nelia and Darren, were lovely and attentive, and they prepared a delicious breakfast for us each morning. The off-road parking was a bonus.
