southernhay guest house exceeded my expectations during this short visit. the recently refurbished rooms were of a high standard, and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. the location was convenient, with shops nearby and a straightforward walk to bournemouth town centre.

Slight odor in the room.

The room was spotless and had all the amenities we needed - comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities, and a big screen TV. The owner even offered vegetarian options for breakfast, which was a thoughtful gesture. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and high street with plenty of restaurants. We highly recommend this place for a personal and enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Southernhay Guest House in Bournemouth. The location was perfect, just a short walk through a peaceful forest to the beach. The room was clean, fresh, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a spotless ensuite bathroom. The hosts, Nelia and Darren, were lovely and attentive, and they prepared a delicious breakfast for us each morning. The off-road parking was a bonus. I highly recommend Southernhay Guest House for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The staff were friendly and the service was top-notch. The rooms were well-appointed, with incredibly comfortable beds that ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfast was a highlight, with the perfect scrambled eggs that were simply delicious. The hotel's location was ideal, within walking distance of buses and just a short walk to the beach through a beautiful forest area.

I had an amazing stay at Southernhay. the room was incredibly clean and the bed was so comfortable. the bathroom was spotless with an excellent shower. the location was perfect, within walking distance of great restaurants. the breakfast was delicious and although there was no buffet, it was still a great experience. Darren and Nelia were extremely nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place.
