The breakfast was excellent in both quality and quantity, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The bedroom was comfortable and attractively furnished, creating a cozy ambiance. The location was convenient, with easy parking and a short distance to the city center. a modern hotel with a welcoming atmosphere.

The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet street, just a short walk away from the Cathedral close. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering a bespoke breakfast option without any fuss. The rooms are warm, cosy, and the bed is extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious with excellent showers. The hotel is clean and tidy, with modern decor.

The hanging space in the rooms is limited and not suitable for longer stays.

Lovely hotel. The staff are brilliant, could not do enough for us. A few hundred years old, the building has a charming, quirky vibe. The Opium room's sleigh bed was uncomfortable, but wouldn't hinder future stays. Delicious breakfast, albeit a little pricey. Perfectly located, just minutes from the city center and cathedral, yet quiet. A fantastic stay, highly recommend Southernhay House.

From the moment we arrived, the staff, especially Sophia, made us feel incredibly welcome. The charming antique furnishings and cozy atmosphere added to the character of this beautiful old city house. We couldn't get enough of the delicious meals, and the communal breakfast table created a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. The well-stocked bar, featuring a great selection of wine, spirits, and local beer, was a highlight. Our bedroom was modern yet perfectly in keeping with the overall style, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. Being attended to throughout breakfast was a real treat. Southernhay House provided a small and intimate boutique hotel experience with plenty of space for relaxation and indulgence.

The parking is off-site, and the hotel doesn't provide it. , the bathroom in the room emitted a strange sulfuric smell, making it impossible to take a fresh shower.

This hotel was a truly luxurious experience, with exclusive amenities that fulfilled all my needs. The Sun terrace and Garden area were stunning, while the Leisure/TV room provided a cozy space to unwind. The room advantages were exceptional, with private facilities that made me feel like royalty. The Restaurant offered delicious and diverse options, including Special diet menus.

The only minor issue was that the Bar/Lounge area lacked a personal touch and felt a bit impersonal. However, the service was top-notch and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.
