I stayed at a wonderful place called Southfield Lodge. The host was extremely welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. The house itself was massive and provided plenty of space and privacy. Despite the shared bathroom, I never experienced any issues with queues. The kitchen was well-equipped and I had full use of it. The location was convenient, just a few minutes' walk to Thomas Cook Square and close to the town center. it was a comfortable and budget-friendly stay.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The prices were very affordable, especially considering the prime location close to the town centre. I was pleased to find that the rooms were exactly like in the pictures, with a comfortable double bed and a well-maintained private bathroom. The presence of a TV in the room was a bonus, as I could unwind and catch up on my favorite shows after a long day of exploring.

All was in good shape.

Great value for money and comfortable sleeping arrangements. the location was conveniently placed within walking distance of local attractions. the kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with tea and coffee.

The general hygiene level was poor, with some guests leaving a mess in the shared bathroom. the overall decor was also shabby, with poor paintwork and rickety fittings.

Located in a quiet area, this guest house offers a peaceful retreat while still being close to the town centre. Its proximity to the university makes it an ideal choice for students or visitors attending events on campus. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a lovely shower room. The friendly host ensures that guests feel at home, providing free tea and coffee in the kitchen. Wifi coverage is excellent, allowing for seamless browsing.

One downside is that there is no permanent staff member on site, which may make guests feel less attended to.

We stay here every Monday for university and always feel comfortable and welcomed. the beds are comfy, rooms nice, plenty of bathrooms, and the communal kitchens are huge with everything needed to cook. the location is great, just a 2-minute walk to the university and city center. the staff is really friendly and efficient. It truly feels like a home away from home. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I had a very pleasant stay at this lodge. The host, Pervaz, was extremely friendly and welcoming. He invited me to use the kitchen for breakfast and provided tea and coffee. The room I stayed in was clean and tidy, with a comfortable double bed and a balcony. The bathroom, which I had sole use of during my stay, was also clean and had a new shower. The location was convenient, with the university campus and town center within walking distance. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Although the room was well-maintained, there was no covering for the skylight, causing it to be quite bright in the morning. Additionally, there was no staff on-site when I arrived, and the parking area was littered with rubbish.
