The best aspects of our xmas stay were the cozy atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings. The glamping pod had underfloor heating, which was a nice touch. The location was key, being only a short walk away from town. We also enjoyed the peacefulness of the area, perfect for a relaxing holiday.

The worst aspect of our xmas stay was the lack of space in the pod. It felt slightly crammed for the four of us, with three of us sharing the bed and one on the sofa bed.

southwell retreat exceeded our expectations during our recent group visit. the pristine cleanliness, attention to detail, and peaceful location made for a tranquil and comfortable stay. the hosts were welcoming and helpful, and we will definitely be returning soon!

Conveniently located near Centre Parcs, well-equipped, warm, clean, and cosy accommodation. Owner decorated for a birthday celebration and provided thoughtful amenities including dog treats. Helpful and friendly staff assisted with late check-in and provided useful local information. Beautiful surroundings with outdoor lighting and spacious area for children to play. Lovely addition of a free BBQ for guests.
