For the price we paid, we got great value and a clean room with a classic British experience of staying above a pub. The location was convenient with nearby pubs, takeaways, and food stores, and the bus stop right outside the door made it easy to get to downtown. The staff was exceptionally friendly and even went above and beyond by notifying us about a forgotten item. our family had a happy and comfortable one-night stay.

I recently stayed at the St Hilda Guesthouse for a football weekend in Liverpool. The room was comfortable and the hosts were incredibly helpful. The kitchen was well-stocked with breakfast essentials, and the proximity to Anfield and Goodison Park was perfect for fellow football enthusiasts. The bus service right outside the hotel made it easy to explore the city center, and we found a great Wetherspoons nearby for affordable food and drink.

Great value for money, the room was spotless and the bed was comfy. The location was convenient, close to both Anfield and Goodison for football enthusiasts and with a bus service on the doorstep. The staff were welcoming, cheery, and went above and beyond to assist, even calling a taxi when mine went to the wrong place.

The breakfast experience could be improved by providing soap or shower gel for the shared bathroom, especially considering the number of guests.

We also appreciated the short distance to restaurants and shops, making it convenient for us to explore the area. Lastly, the proximity to Anfield stadium was a major plus for football fans like us.
