What a delightful stay we had at this hotel! the soft white linens on the bed were pristine, and having a kettle with coffee/tea and cookies in the room was a lovely touch. the hosts, Robbie and Jane, were incredibly kind and welcoming. the location of this hotel is in a very quiet area, which made for a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring Paignton. We appreciated the serene atmosphere and the chance to relax in such a tranquil setting.

as Paignton is popular among families, the beach can get quite crowded with children and there are some areas with electronic entertainment that play loud music nearby.

I LOVED the flat 10-minute walk to the beach, promenade, and town, making it easy to access the steam train, railway. Parking was a breeze either on the quiet road or in their drive. the hospitality was fantastic, with a comfortable room and superb breakfast. the Easter card and eggs were a lovely touch, and the overall stay was mind-blowing, leaving us tired but utterly satisfied after exploring the area. Thank you, Robbie, Jane, and Hercules, for a jaw-dropping experience!

Located a short stroll from the beach and within easy reach of the town centre, this hotel is perfectly situated. You won't be bothered by noisy crowds from nearby pubs and clubs. The rooms are clean and modern, with comfortable beds and spacious showers. The hosts are warm and welcoming, providing excellent service and delicious breakfasts. Parking may be slightly challenging, but the owners are helpful in finding alternative options.

Limited parking spaces on the road may require you to park one street away.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Stayed at this wonderful B&B for my partners birthday. the location is a flat 10 min walk to the beach and town, perfect for exploring. Parking was a breeze, just like a walk in the park. Robbie and Jane were as welcoming as a sunny day. the room was cozy and comfortable, felt like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was a feast fit for a king! Thanks for the Easter surprise, left us hopping with joy.

We recently stayed at a 4-star hotel here and had a wonderful experience. This place is located in a very quiet area, making it perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The hotel offers great amenities such as a laundry service and pet accommodations, which is a huge plus for those traveling with furry friends. The rooms were well-appointed with ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee making facilities. We loved the terrace and garden furniture, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings. The hotel also provided free toiletries, an electric kettle, and a television with an FM alarm clock and CD player. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with carpeted floors and a flat-screen TV. The staff was friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service. The hotel had leisure garden facilities and Wi-Fi, which was a nice bonus. There was an off-site car park available, and the hotel also offered luggage storage and laundry services. we had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to family and friends.

The hotel offered free beach equipment rentals and the staff were friendly. Another key point was that it was in close proximity to the beach. Additionally, breakfast was served quickly each morning.

Our New Year's stay was not enjoyable. The rooms were not cleaned and it was damp inside. The staff were not helpful at all, and the WiFi was poor. Furthermore, the parking was scarce and the location was far from local attractions.

The value for money at St Marguerite was great, with a spacious and clean room, complete with all the necessary amenities. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the seafront, and the hospitable hosts made us feel very welcome.

We arrived late in the evening and all the parking spaces were taken, but luckily we found a spot just one street away. The hosts were very gracious and accommodating, ensuring we had a comfortable and restful night's sleep. The next morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast of perfectly cooked scrambled eggs on toast and poached eggs. The hosts also provided us with valuable local tips for exploring the area. I highly recommend this B&B for its friendly hosts and excellent food.
