The hotel's pool was fantastic and provided a refreshing escape from the summer heat. the breakfast was also a highlight, offering a wide range of delicious options to start the day off right. the hotel's location was ideal, with beautiful surrounding grounds adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere.

Being located next to a generator room, the constant buzzing and whirring made it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep. It would have been better if these issues were addressed prior to my arrival.

I had a great stay at this hotel. the value for money was excellent. The prices were very reasonable for what you get. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The staff took care of every little thing and made sure I had a comfortable stay. Moreover, the location next to the golf course was a highlight. I enjoyed strolling to the local pub at the end of the golf course for a drink. Lastly, the rooms with a good view and walk-in shower were a nice touch. a fantastic experience.

The best aspects of our romantic escape at this hotel were the friendly staff and the excellent food at the restaurant. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and attended to all of our needs with a smile. the food served at the restaurant was of high quality and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. the hotel's location was perfect for us as it provided easy access to the M4 and nearby attractions.

The worst aspects of our stay were the tired condition of the hotel and the poor Wi-Fi and TV signal. the hotel itself was in need of refurbishment, with worn-out decor and outdated facilities.

The breakfast was delicious with friendly staff. The rooms were spacious, clean, and newly done with a lovely walk-in shower. The property had beautiful views and plenty of fresh air from the garden. The location was perfect, next to the golf ground and surrounded by greens and a lovely garden. The spa, gym, and coffee bar were also great amenities. Plenty of relaxing things to do and a peaceful time was had by all.

Everything was fantastic.

The main hotel had a lot of charm and character, giving it a non-chain feel. the service at dinner and breakfast was excellent, with delicious food. the spa, swimming pool, and jacuzzi were very enjoyable and helped to make the stay relaxing.

The exterior appearance of the garden room area was unkempt, with maintenance issues like unpainted facia boards and piles of leaves on the doorstep. This gave a negative first impression.

My partner and I had a romantic escape and the leisure facilities were fantastic. We enjoyed parking close to our room and the blackout curtains were perfect for sleeping in. the hotel's location was perfect as it was easy to explore the city.

There were some negatives we experienced. the bed was extremely uncomfortable with dodgy springs and we could feel them sticking into our bodies.

Spa facilities excellent, staff friendly, cooked breakfast delicious. Room in grounds spacious and comfortable with hot water, tea and coffee facilities, and TV. Beautiful setting with lovely view from room. Enjoyed swim, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room.

the room was warm, welcoming and clean.the spa was very good and the staff were very helpful with information and directions for public transport to the castle. perfect location for our visit to Cardiff, lovely grounds, and fabulous food.

Despite the disappointing rooms, the hotel's location was a great base for exploring the nearby Cardiff City center. the leisure facilities, although in need of some maintenance, provided a relaxing escape.

One major negative about the hotel was the shabby and outdated appearance of the rooms, which did not live up to the grandeur of the rest of the establishment.

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and helpful staff. We had a vegan breakfast prepared specially for us, which was delicious. The room was clean and tidy, although a bit dated. Despite that, it was still worth the discounted rate. I would recommend staying here for a pleasant and relaxing experience.
