The property was warm, cosy and had a lot of character. The owners and their sons were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The local people in the area were also very friendly and made us feel welcome. The food, especially the Greek cuisine, was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. The views at the back of the property were stunning, overlooking beautiful fields. Additionally, the room was beautifully decorated and had all the necessary facilities.

The TV in the room was small and fixed to the ceiling, making it difficult to watch certain scenes due to the angle. Another drawback was missing out on a cooked breakfast, although the continental spread was still lovely.

It was the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. the continental breakfast was quite impressive, with a wide variety of fresh fruits, cereals, and delicious Greek yogurt. It definitely gave me a great start to the day. the room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

the room was on the smaller side, but considering the price, it was understandable. there was no hot water from the hot tap in the basin, which was a bit inconvenient.

The peaceful location added to the tranquility of our stay, and the owners, Stamatis and his family, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. The food at the restaurant was simply amazing, offering both delicious Greek dishes and a mouthwatering English Sunday roast. And the prices were very reasonable too. We also enjoyed spending time in the lovely beer garden at the back of the pub. The Stag's Head truly exceeded our expectations and we can't fault it in any way.

During my stay at a lovely, quirky place, I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable bed and the great continental breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing suggestions for trips out. I also appreciated the small touches like cookies, milk, coffee, tea, water. The thoughtfulness extended to providing a foreign plug for visitors who forgot their adaptor. I had a delightful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

The only minor inconvenience I encountered was the limited parking initially, but it was resolved once people left the nearby Stags Head. Additionally, the bathroom in my room was a bit small, although still adequate.

Attentive hosts, delightful Swallow's Nest theme, comfortable room, ample space. Great value, wish we could have stayed longer. Clean room, small fridge with milk & juice. Coffee, tea, bottled water provided. Friendly pub/inn with excellent beer. Quaint village, great continental breakfast with Greek yogurt, cereals, fresh fruit, toast, jams. Highly recommended.

Nothing that I didn't like.

We recently had a romantic escape in a lovely little pub on the tip of the Cotswolds. The delicious dinner and continental breakfast were definitely highlights of our stay. The food was fresh and plentiful, and we couldn't have asked for more. The rural location of the pub provided the perfect setting for a peaceful night's sleep, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We also loved the friendly and welcoming owners who made us feel right at home.

There were a couple of downsides to our stay. The room we were allocated was very small and had an unpleasant odor.

We loved the coffee facilities in the room, which offered a variety of options like tea, coffee, orange juice, water, and biscuits. The continental breakfast in the morning was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The owner of the hotel was a fabulous gentleman and we had a great chat with him in the evening at the pub.

We had an amazing stay at a beautiful family-run inn. the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, going above and beyond our expectations. the building itself was picturesque, with a charming thatched roof. Our room, decorated with a lovely swallow theme, was clean, comfortable, and attractively decorated. the ensuite was bijou but modern and clean. the peaceful atmosphere and excellent wifi made for a truly enjoyable stay. And let's not forget the breakfast - delicious Greek yogurt and plenty of fruit, along with yummy wholemeal bread. All the little touches, like the biscuits and bottles of water, were greatly appreciated. We were even allowed to arrive early to get ready for a wedding. Highly recommend!

I had an early departure and the main building was closed. But the staff at Stag's Head were so accommodating and offered me the option to leave my room key in the pub's letterbox. It was a small gesture, but it showed their thoughtfulness and professionalism.

The location of the hotel was ideal, situated in a peaceful and picturesque rural village. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast provided, which was a great start to our day.

There were a few negative aspects of our experience. the room we were allocated had a strong smell of sewage and blocked drains, making it very unpleasant to stay in.
