I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The large garden view room with a four-poster bed was unexpected and incredibly comfortable. The dinner served during my stay was excellent, with imaginative and well-cooked dishes that were beautifully presented. The selection of wine, both by the glass and on the overall wine list, was impressive. The hotel's garden was absolutely beautiful, and I especially appreciated the separate dog exercise paddock. It was such a great idea.

My wife and I enjoyed our two night mid-week stay at Stanton Manor. It was a special evening for us after badminton. We particularly appreciated the hotel’s distinctive features which for us included the honey from the hives in the garden, the in-house made granola for breakfast, the delicious squares of flapjack in our room, and the well-kept gardens with a walking route for guests and their dogs. The staff's outstanding customer service also made our stay memorable.

The New Year's celebration at this hotel was fantastic! The staff put in a lot of effort to make the event memorable. The decorations were beautiful and created a festive atmosphere. The live music and entertainment were top-notch and kept everyone entertained throughout the night. the food served during the celebration was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location of the hotel was also excellent, with stunning views of the countryside and easy access to nearby attractions. it was a wonderful experience.

There were a few disappointments during our stay. The service at the hotel was a bit slow and understaffed at times, resulting in longer wait times for drinks and food.

During our Christmas stay, we were impressed by the beautiful and charming hotel with its old English charm. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, with a particularly large and spotlessly clean bathroom. The friendly receptionist made check-in quick and easy. One of the key location factors was that the hotel was conveniently located near attractions in the area. we enjoyed the complimentary bottle of filtered water in the room, which added a nice touch to our stay.

The restaurant was on the pricier side and did not offer a children's menu. the service at the restaurant was disorganized and inadequate.

The hotel is a hidden gem, a beautiful historic manor house with a charming English character. The location couldn't be better, just off the M4 and with easy access to Chippenham and Bath. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and uniquely designed, with lovely en-suite bathrooms. The staff are exceptional, friendly, and always ready to help. The basic amenities are all there, and the highlight is the access to the stunning garden, perfect for relaxing. The breakfast options are varied, and you can even upgrade to a full English for just £5. Incredible value for money!
