Mate, no wi-fi in the barn was a bit of a bummer, and the TV setup could use a spruce-up.

The cottage was charming, the hosts warm. Comfortable bed, top-notch linens. Breakfast superb and location ideal for exploring. Sally and Peter's hospitality was outstanding. A unique stay with lovely attention to detail. Landmarks close by like St Mary's Church and picturesque Asthall Manor added to our relaxation and family bonding. the only hiccup was the parking situation, but that wouldn't deter us from returning.

Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious home cooked breakfast in the beautiful cottage garden. the location was perfect, just a short walk to a lovely pub and a picturesque village. the hosts, Sally and Peter, were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return next year.

My recent stay at this hotel away in the beautiful Cotswolds was truly wonderful. the hosts were incredibly warm and accommodating, making us feel right at home. the charming room exceeded my expectations, with a comfy bed and top-notch linens ensuring a restful sleep. the made-to-order breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of delicious choices that were a cut above the rest. the attention to detail, from the fresh flowers to the thoughtful amenities, made the experience truly special.

If I were to suggest improvements, finding parking in the evening could be a bit tricky, and the shower in room 1 might need some fine-tuning for a better water temperature control. These were minor inconveniences in an otherwise delightful stay.

Emily and I had a fantastic stay at Star Cottage. We stayed in the barn, which provided privacy and a beautiful garden view. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the Cotswolds easily. Peter and Sally were amazing hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a delicious breakfast and a great selection of tea and coffee. a charming and authentic B&B experience that we would highly recommend.
