The location of the hotel is excellent, within a short 10-minute walk from the town center, pier, and boat rides. the off-street parking provided was convenient for guests.

The directions to the hotel were confusing and hard to follow in the dark.

I had a wonderful stay at Stockdale Cottage in Ambleside. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. I loved the tranquil and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The location was excellent, allowing me to easily explore the town and enjoy the nearby pubs and restaurants. The off-street parking was a great convenience, and I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owners in providing helpful notes and recommendations. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely return to Stockdale Cottage in the future.
