excellent stay in mevagissey village. fran's cottage exceeded expectations - comfy beds, good shower, and rich local information. breakfast delivered to room added charm and convenience, felt just like home from home!

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location couldn't be better, right down near the harbour. The service and housekeeping were outstanding, with every detail taken care of. The room amenities, including the heating, tea and coffee facilities, and dining table, added an extra level of comfort. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We also appreciated the free toiletries and the flat-screen TV for some evening relaxation. The dining options were excellent, with special diet menus available. this place exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Stayed here for Easter and it was amazing! Loved the location, very close to the port and restaurants. Our room had an amazing view of the lighthouse and we had an iPad and strong wifi connection. the tea and coffee facilities were great, and they even had fresh milk waiting for us in a flask. the breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade bread and jams.

The stairs were quite steep, which could be a problem for some people. the ensuite was a bit small, but everything was still manageable.

The breakfast, delivered in a hamper to our room, was beautifully wrapped and had a good variety. Rooms on the top floor were clean and well-equipped. The host had a friendly, personal touch. The location was convenient for buses and restaurants. The food was the best we've had at a B&B.

Stone's Throw Cottage in Mevagissey was a delightful stay. The warm welcome from Fran made me feel right at home. The single room "Anchor" had a lovely view of the sea and lighthouse. The room was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable with quality linen. The en-suite shower room was perfectly appointed with fluffy towels and organic toiletries. Fran's attention to detail with the hospitality tray, including tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits. The breakfast selection was excellent, with homemade bread and jams, premium yogurts, and a delicious cooked breakfast made to order. Fran's helpfulness was outstanding, from providing a bus timetable to making me feel comfortable as a lone traveler. I would highly recommend Stone's Throw Cottage to family and friends. I had a very happy stay and I will definitely be back.
