Quirky hotel, fantastic staff, beautiful gardens, amazing breakfast, great coffee and food.

Nothing to complain about at all.

The hotel offered a spacious room with a comfortable bed and a modern shower. The highlight of our stay was the delicious dinner and breakfast, with a wide selection of local gins and tasty options like petit fours and vegeree. The other guests were friendly and the location was convenient for exploring different parts of Norfolk. The hotel also catered to various dietary requirements, providing a range of options to choose from.

Some aspects of the bathroom could use updating, such as the water tab and basin. the hairdryer provided was of low quality and caused damage.

The location of the hotel couldn't have been better, right in the center of town with easy access to local pubs and restaurants. The bed and bedding were the best we've ever experienced, providing us with a restful night's sleep. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of toiletries and thin pillows, our overall experience was exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and magical stay.

One advantage was being able to sit outdoors in the gardens, enjoying the sunshine with a cup of tea and the newspaper.

The lighting in the room was not great, and as an allergy sufferer, I was not happy about the presence of cats in the hotel. the dining experience was not as enjoyable as expected, with all dining taking place in a separate building that lacked the same atmosphere.

Excellent room amenities including a stunning in-room bath and walk-in rainshower. Reasonably priced minibar. Delicious and well-prepared food at the café/restaurant. Incredible breakfast options with locally sourced ingredients. Friendly and attentive staff.

During our Easter stay, we really enjoyed the comfortable and clean rooms. the staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly, making our experience more enjoyable. the location of the hotel was ideal, as it was situated in the heart of the town, making it convenient to explore the area.

The breakfast served at the hotel restaurant was satisfactory, but we felt that the one-sided toasting of the bread was a peculiar choice. considering the prices, we felt that the overall cost of our stay was quite expensive compared to similar hotels in other areas.

I got great value for my money at this delightfully quirky hotel. The room was amazing, with a glorious bed and a comfy sofa with throws for added luxury. The location was very good, although there was some noise in the early morning from a nearby takeaway. The staff at Strattons were fantastic - efficient, helpful, and always had a smile. I particularly enjoyed watching the staff at dinner, who were friendly and incredibly efficient. They walked with purpose and made sure every guest had a wonderful dining experience. The fresh milk in the fridge was a nice touch too.

The hotel breakfast menu could have had more options. The pastry, yogurt, and fruit provided did not feel like a continental breakfast, and it was delivered and left in the fridge a day before.

the staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and efficient. My colleague and I had a meal in the restaurant, and I must say it was one of the best meals I have ever had. the restaurant offered excellent food and presentation. Although they didn't have a traditional bar, ordering drinks from the comfortable lounge was a breeze. I particularly enjoyed their organic lager. the bed in my room was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the hotel also served a delicious breakfast. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at this quirky boutique hotel. Located in a beautiful country setting, it was just a short walk from the lively high street. The hotel catered to all our dietary requirements without any hassle, offering delicious breakfast options like vegeree and petit fours. The staff and other guests were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The room was comfortable and had a great view of the surroundings. We also enjoyed the unique bathroom design and the impeccable service provided.

The parking at the hotel was limited, which was a minor inconvenience.

We also enjoyed the unique touch of having a resident cat. the room we stayed in, Cocoes One, was lovely, especially the incredibly comfortable bed and luxurious bed linen. the hotel's beautiful design and attention to detail were evident throughout. the included breakfast was delicious, and the staff were warm and friendly. We highly recommend Strattons.

The hotel is situated in a quiet location, perfect for a romantic getaway. the room was beautifully decorated with lovely colours and intricate details. the breakfast had a wide range of locally sourced ingredients with plenty of options to choose from. the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

The parking was limited and it was difficult to find a spot at peak times. the room was quite hot and took a while to cool down even with the window open.
