Our Sunday family meal was excellent, with both the food and service exceeding our expectations. The hotel is situated in a lovely park with a beautiful rose garden, creating a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel's location makes it convenient to drive to nearby attractions such as Oxford and Bath, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a large, cozy bed. The hotel was conveniently located just outside Farringdon, making it easy to walk into town for dining options. The bar area was nice and the self-service breakfast had a chef cooking fresh food and regularly replenishing the options.

The breakfast lacked flavor in some items like fried tomatoes, bacon, and eggs. The service was also a bit disappointing as we had to remind the staff of a request on two occasions.

The value for money at Sudbury House was excellent, with comfortable rooms and good quality amenities. The location in a historic town was fantastic and the staff were welcoming and helpful.

The location of the hotel, nestled in a wood-fired Gosney oven, was absolutely stunning. We were also pleased with the friendly service from the night staff and the proximity to Faringdon market town.
