The waffles at breakfast were a highlight, fluffy and drizzled with just the right amount of syrup! The views from our room were absolutely fab, overlooking the stunning coastline. Plus, the Log House we stayed in was wonderful for relaxing by the fire.

However, there were a couple of hiccups. The restaurant was dog-friendly, but a local lady let her dogs roam, which became quite bothersome while we were trying to enjoy our chewy steaks. Breakfast service was likewise slow—nearly an hour wait left us ready to eat our shoes! Though we got a small discount at checkout, the whole dining experience took a bit of the shine off our stay.

The views over the Summer Isles are truly breathtaking, creating a magical backdrop that'll get your heart racing. The atmosphere in the lounge is cozy and relaxing, a perfect spot to unwind while watching the sunset over the water.

Some rooms feel a bit cramped and dated, lacking the modern comforts you'd expect for the price. Breakfast service could be better. delays and inconsistent cooking levels were noted, especially with items that were lukewarm at best. Also, the shower pressure didn't live up to the mark – you'll be grappling with temperature control. Not to mention a limited dining menu that could leave you wanting more variety while the bar snacks generally miss the mark in flavor and presentation.

I recently stayed in a Standard Double Room at Summer Isles Hotel, and it was fantastic! The room was spacious, super clean, and had a cozy nook with a kettle. We had dinner in the lovely restaurant, and I was impressed by the friendly service and the high-quality food. Breakfast was a highlight too, with plenty of delicious options. Watching the sunset over the Summer Isles from our room was absolutely breathtaking!

Just one thing, the single track road can slow you down.
