We stayed in a hotel located in the heart of the vibrant city center, making it a convenient choice for backpackers like us. It was just a short walk from the central train station, allowing us to easily explore the city and its surroundings. The hotel was situated right in the middle of all the nightlife, so we didn't have to worry about expensive taxi rides or long walks back after a fun night out. The room we stayed in was clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable space for a weekend stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had a pleasant experience during our time there.

The hotel lacked soundproofing, which meant that noise from the outside and within the building could be heard quite easily in the rooms.

The breakfast was delicious and I loved the option of having a cooked breakfast made to order. the continental breakfast was also impressive and on par with more expensive hotels. the location of the hotel was fantastic, within walking distance to key attractions in the city. the friendly staff made my stay more enjoyable.

The noise levels in the hotel were quite disruptive, particularly during the night. the lack of double glazing meant that street noise easily filtered into the rooms, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

had a great stay in newcastle again, and surtees really impressed with its fab central location, friendly staff, and clean, comfy room. loved the little touches like the tea, coffee, and biscuits. would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the heart of the city with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Our room, although basic, was clean and comfortable, with cozy beds that made for a good night's sleep. We were also pleased with the complimentary wifi. Despite a few minor issues, we had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. a positive experience.
