Free WiFi and parking, very convenient when I was uploading my fancy photos and driving my expensive car. The beach was nearby, perfect for my posh self to take a luxurious stroll.

Too bad I couldn't use the washing machine to clean my designer towels. So inconvenient.

The location of the cottage is great, with easy access to local amenities and just a short walk to the harbor. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen equipment surpassed expectations. Ample parking space, which is a big plus in a busy area like Whitby. Communication with the host was excellent.

It was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and we were impressed with the abundance of fresh towels provided. the kitchen equipment exceeded our expectations, and we appreciated the extra effort made to ensure cleanliness and hygiene with the availability of antibacterial and sanitizing products in every room. Parking was not an issue as the space easily accommodated our large vehicle.

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely cottage. The location was great, with local amenities nearby and the harbour just a 5-minute walk away. The private parking was a bonus, making it easy for us to come and go. The cottage was clean on arrival and the beds were extremely comfortable. We found everything we needed for a self-catering stay. Highly recommend this family-friendly and great value accommodation.

Convenient parking and close to town and the coast. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Plus, the property was very clean and tidy, which made for a pleasant stay.

The main bedroom bed was uncomfortable, as it consisted of two smaller mattresses zipped together. The sound insulation was poor, as we could hear noises from both the neighboring rooms and outside.

We had a wonderful stay at Swales Cottage for a few nights with our dog and friends. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed, including plenty of fresh towels and kitchen equipment. The spacious rooms and comfortable beds made for a great night's sleep. The communication from the host, John, was excellent throughout our stay. The cottage's central location meant we could easily explore the area and enjoy some peace and quiet away from the bustle of the town.
