The location was perfect for a Christmas getaway. We were able to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The property was spacious and well set out, providing us with everything we needed. The views were amazing, especially on clear nights when we could sit outside and admire the beautiful stars.

There were a couple of negative aspects to our experience. The garden was neglected, which was a shame as it had the potential to be lovely.

Had a fantastic Christmas at this lovely holiday home! The location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful spot with beautiful surroundings. The bungalow was much more spacious than expected, with all the amenities we needed. The outdoor space was a big hit with our dog, and there was plenty of equipment provided. The hosts were accommodating and even allowed us to host a small family gathering. Consistent and reliable WiFi was a bonus, and the dark nighttime sky allowed us to see shooting stars - a magical experience!

Although the property was generally clean, a few areas needed attention. The garden was a bit neglected and could have been tidier.

I had the pleasure of staying at a delightful holiday home. The area offered great opportunities for hiking and cycling. The kitchen was well-equipped and the garden, with its barbecue, was ideal for outdoor dining. The living room was cozy, and I enjoyed watching the flat-screen TV in the evenings.

Such a shame that the garden wasn't well-maintained - it would have been so lovely if it had been.

Swallows Retreat was the perfect last-minute getaway. The beautiful and quiet location provided a much-needed break from the chaos of everyday life. The spacious surroundings were ideal for our dogs to run around safely, and it was a relief to know they couldn't escape. The views were breathtaking, with an abundance of nature and fresh air. The comfortable bed, settee, and warm shower added to the overall comfort of our stay. We even enjoyed a BBQ and a takeaway, making the most of the well-equipped accommodations. With its proximity to town and the New Forest, this retreat exceeded our expectations.
