We had a fantastic weekend at Swan Hotel by Greene King Inns! The recently refurbished rooms were pleasant and comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere. The location was perfect, right opposite the church in the heart of beautiful Thaxted. We also enjoyed the traditional English inn feel. I highly recommend this hotel.

There were a lot of things we didn't like. We had to wait a long time to get our food and when it arrived, it was cold.

We had a great time staying at this hotel on the outskirts of a lovely little village. The room was in good order, clean, and well equipped. The bathroom, although a little smelly, was well-maintained. The staff, although lacking in customer service, were helpful at times and the breakfast served by a nice lady was excellent. The location, in the centre of the village and beautiful opposite the church, added to the charm of our stay. The hotel also had facilities such as a lounge area and a reliable Wi-Fi network in the lounge.

I stayed at Swan Hotel By Greene King Inns for 2 nights while attending a meeting nearby. The location was incredibly convenient, directly opposite the venue. The room was clean and tidy, with a generous supply of tea, coffee, and biscuits. Fresh towels were provided, and the staff even replenished the tea and coffee on the second day. The breakfast options were excellent, offering a choice between continental and cooked meals, including delicious options like smoked salmon and croque madame. The bar and restaurant had a great selection, and the hotel was dog-friendly.
