Lovely Hotel - Quiet and Peaceful

I stayed in a beautiful room with a stunning view and a comfortable bed. The surroundings were picturesque and the food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. Despite a minor issue with the bathroom, the staff in the bar and at breakfast were friendly and accommodating. I had a lovely stay at Sweeney Hall and would recommend it.

The room was spacious with large windows and lovely furnishings. We had a delicious evening meal with excellent service, and it was great value for money. The breakfast was one of the best I have had at a hotel, and the hotel itself was well maintained and had a clean appearance. The staff were also very accommodating, providing room service for my wife who has mobility issues. The hotel is also dog-friendly with nice walks around the garden.

stayed here before in oswestry, but sweeney hall exceeded expectations this time. felt like a big cozy home, staff were so friendly and efficient. amazing evening meal, drinks, and best breakfast in years. can't wait to return.

The hotel was a bit out of town and was a bit tricky to find. This made it difficult for us to wander around and explore the local area.

Lovely staff, good breakfast, great views. Very welcoming even though we arrived very late, happy to get us a drink. Beautiful building and gardens. Delicious food. Spacious and clean rooms with amenities.

We had a great stay at Sweeney Hall. The staff were polite and attentive, making us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a really comfortable bed. The food was excellent, with a good variety of options to choose from. We also enjoyed exploring the beautiful grounds surrounding the hotel. we would definitely recommend staying at this charming countryside retreat.

Room was quite small and cramped. Lack of door in en-suite bathroom was inconvenient and uncomfortable.

I got really good value for my money at Sweeney Hall. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was top-notch. The staff were amazing - friendly and helpful, even though they were busy with a big event. They made me feel welcome and looked after, and the bar staff made sure I had everything I needed, including a delicious meal. The young lady at check-out was also very helpful. The suite was spacious and I loved having a separate shower and toilet. The beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic, especially the sausage and black pudding. The staff were accommodating and even though I should have asked for toast, they were nice about it. The hotel grounds were lovely, and I enjoyed seeing cows and sheep on the way in.

The Sweeney Hall Hotel is a perfect retreat for nature lovers, with beautiful rural surroundings and extensive gardens to explore.
