celebrated in fort augustus, highland club direct surpassed expectations. exceeded others. location, grounds, and comfortable beds, plus immediate response from simon for any issues, made for a memorable stay. coffee and tea provided. couldn't ask for more from a lochside cottage venue.

The apartment had stunning views and was in a great location, close to restaurants and pubs. The architecture was beautiful and the rooms were well-equipped.

The limited space in the pool made it difficult to swim when other families were present.

The location and setting were absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Loch Ness. The Caledonian canal lock gates were a fascinating sight to see. Another advantage was the variety of activities available, such as archery lessons and bike riding along the beautiful Caledonian Canal.

The dirty crockery and cutlery required washing again, and there were numerous issues including a leaking sink, stained mattress cover, and black mold-like material on the dishwasher. The lack of proper communication and clarity regarding rules and expectations, such as the requirement to take out all rubbish, was also frustrating.

My experience at Highland Club Direct in Fort Augustus was absolutely magnificent! The location and setting were breathtaking, with stunning views down Loch Ness and the surrounding mountains. The Caledonian Canal lock gates were a fascinating spectacle, and the glorious weather made it even more enjoyable. The activities around the Highland club were fantastic, especially the archery lessons on the front lawn and bike riding along the Caledonian Canal. The Talisker apartment where we stayed was perfect for our group of 6, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. a truly unique and beautiful property. I would highly recommend a visit to this outstanding location.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Highland Club Direct in Fort Augustus. The spacious accommodation was perfect for our group of six, and we were impressed with its comfort and convenience. The location was excellent, with shops, cafes, and the beautiful loch all within easy reach. We especially enjoyed the archery lessons and bike riding activities offered by Boots n Paddles. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped. Despite a few minor issues, such as a faulty toaster and a loose glass top on the coffee table, our overall experience was fantastic.
