This hotel is a hidden gem on the banks of Loch Awe, with picturesque scenery all around. The rooms are comfortable, especially the huge super comfy four-poster bed. The staff provide exceptional service, and the breakfast, which is included, is delicious.

All was well at this hotel.

I had a wonderful time at a hidden gem in beautiful idyllic surroundings. The relaxed atmosphere and peaceful lounges were perfect for recharging. The manager, who was exceptionally friendly, made me feel welcome. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The spacious rooms and lovely bathroom added to the comfort of my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful getaway.

We were pleasantly surprised when our concerns about our room were taken seriously. The hotel immediately offered us an upgrade, showing their willingness to assist us. Although the upgraded room was a bit tired and dated, we appreciated the swift action taken by the hotel to rectify the issues raised. The personal service to detail made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent, especially considering the fact that I have a gluten intolerance. They were able to cater to my needs and even arranged an afternoon tea at short notice. The breakfast had a fantastic choice and the fires at the Lochside in the evening created a cozy atmosphere. The bar staff, Gary, went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. this hotel is a little gem that we have already booked to return to before even leaving.

There was nothing we didn't like. The only minor drawback was the distance from the main road, which limited our choices for meals and bars.

Great bed, comfy bath, and amazing view of the loch! the food tasted fantastic, and I completely enjoyed the buffet offered in the evening. the scenery and location were breathtaking. All in all, a superb experience.

the TV in my room did not function. Despite these minor complaints, the positive aspects made the experience worthwhile.

We recently had an amazing stay at a hotel right on the edge of a beautiful loch. The location was stunning, with public areas that led down to a small beach. The rooms were warm and comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with stunning views across the loch. The hotel had a lovely ambience and the evenings were made even more romantic with large floor candles and a cozy log fire.

I was thrilled to celebrate our golden wedding at Taychreggan, a hotel with such a rich history and breathtaking views. The manager ensured that our special occasion was recognized by upgrading our room promptly upon our request. The staff went above and beyond, driving us to a wedding hotel and collecting us at midnight, saving us from expensive taxis. The outstanding service truly made our stay memorable.

While the menu was limited, the food was delicious. The hotel could benefit from some updates and renovations, but it added to the charm of the historical building.

We had a fantastic New Year's stay at a hotel in Taynuilt! the location was stunning, with beautiful views of the countryside and a lovely Loch nearby. the highlight was the delicious food - we enjoyed a variety of dishes, all expertly prepared and presented. the hotel also offered some great extras, like complimentary sherry in our room and homemade shortbread. it was a wonderful experience.

The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, only available in certain areas of the hotel. the TV in the room had limited channels, which was a bit disappointing.

Spectacular views, tranquil location, fabulous food, great choice of whisky and gin. Friendly team, top cuisine, excellent breakfast. Beautiful spot on the shore of the lake, friendly atmosphere, helpful staff. Laid back and relaxing atmosphere. Full-size snooker table available.
