This place was a gem! The apartment was modern, clean, and welcoming. It had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved having our own space and place after staying in hotels and B&Bs. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful island and reaching all parts of it easily.

The only downside was that the WiFi wasn't great, which made it a bit difficult for children to watch their online stuff. It would have been helpful to have a DVD player as a backup entertainment option, especially when the weather wasn't great and we needed to return to the apartment early.

The local Spar shop was conveniently stocked with a wide selection of food, making it easy to grab any necessities.

Although Salen may not be the most picturesque village on Mull, it is conveniently located for accessing other parts of the island. The only downside was the limited WiFi, which could be problematic for children wanting to watch their online entertainment.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was exceptional, with xtra clean rooms that were well-maintained. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a pool which we enjoyed. The breakfast provided was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff, especially Maria who was responsible for the breakfast, were incredibly friendly and kind. They made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The location of this budget accommodation couldn't be better. Situated opposite Mediterranea restaurant and just a short stroll down to the old quay, it offers easy access to local amenities and attractions. The central location also makes it a great base for exploring other parts of the island. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a home away from home experience. With a well-stocked grocery store nearby, self-catering is a breeze.

The entrance porch was a super big and heated space, perfect for coming in with wet coats and dogs. The coat rack allowed us to hang damp coats and dog towels, ensuring they dried off well. It was great to leave our shoes and boots here and enter the main property with clean, dry feet. The small bottle of fresh milk in the fridge upon our arrival was a thoughtful and much appreciated touch.

We felt most welcome at The Old School in Salen , and there was no reason to complain.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the facilities provided were excellent. I especially appreciated the convenient parking and the central location in the village. It was perfect for exploring Mull, as it was situated opposite the Mediterranea restaurant and close to the old quay. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The perfect cosy apartment to explore a beautiful island. The apartment was fully equipped and really cosy but also spacious. We received a warm welcome and were given some great hints and tips for our break. The apartment exceeded our expectations, we were traveling with a 10 month old and there was enough space in the smaller bedroom for our travel cot. The apartment was really clean, there was also a selection of convenient extras like tea, coffee, and condiments which were a really nice touch. The location of the apartment was great for exploring the island.

It was perfect for us but this would not suit a disabled user. Would’ve been handy to have a washing machine.

The cottage was lovely and homely, with all the facilities we needed. We especially enjoyed cozying up by the log burner fire on colder nights. The location was great, being centrally located on the island, making it easy to visit all the sites. The convenience of having a Spar just down the road was also a bonus.
