our recent stay in oakham was an absolute delight, but our time at the b&b in teigh exceeded all expectations. the historic home was beautifully decorated, and the shared sitting room made us feel like we were visiting friends. our host was so welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a delightful stay at this B&B. The hostess was charming and accommodating, making us feel like family. The breakfast was delicious with homemade marmalade and a choice of juices. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with soaps and creams provided. The room had a radio, making it feel like home. The small touches, like the silver sugar spoon and bowl, added to the overall experience.

Some pubs and restaurants were closed on Mondays, but there were alternative options available nearby.

As longer-term business travellers, we appreciated the comfortable rooms, well-equipped bathrooms, and peaceful surroundings.

The value for money at Teigh Old Rectory was exceptional, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary facilities. The location was ideal, providing a quiet and peaceful base to explore Rutland, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.

The breakfast could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.

My stay at the charming Teigh Old Rectory Bed & Breakfast was a dream come true for any Jane Austen fan like myself. The bnb's connection to a Jane Austen film added to the enchantment. The room, with its famous closet, and the sitting room where Darcy proposed to Elizabeth, were absolute highlights. The hostess, Victoria, was exceptional, and the made-to-order breakfast was delicious. Nearby, Belton House, the home of Lady Catherine deBourg, was a must-visit.
