the rooms at thames edge rooms are exceptionally clean. the location is perfect - right by the river - ideal for a relaxing evening in the garden. the hosts offer great local tips and a charming atmosphere. loved that the hosts were friendly but also gave us space - a true balance.

Thames Edge Rooms in Wallingford was an absolute gem! Dining by the Thames was pure magic, with nearby spots like the Coachmakers Arms for a cozy pint or GINSENG Restaurant for a flavorsome feast. the Old Post Office offered a quaint setting for a cuppa, and USA Chicken Takeaway delivered some finger-licking goodness. Everything sparkled, making for an epic culinary adventure. Can't wait to go back and indulge some more! 🍽️✨

Our stay at Thames Edge Rooms was absolutely beautiful and unique. From the moment we arrived, Tim and Annie made us feel welcome and showed us to our gorgeous room. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the stunning art works to the top quality bedding on the super comfy bed. We loved the extra touches, like the milk, water, and mini bottles of wine in the fridge. The shower was perfect, and we enjoyed eating meals in the summerhouse for a change of scenery. The location on the riverside was stunning, and being within walking distance to town was a bonus. We will definitely be returning in warmer weather!

The room was beautifully decorated and furnished, with attention to every detail. The toilet, basin, and separate shower were of the highest standard. The owners were very helpful and responsive to our needs, even offering us the use of the garden by the river. We appreciated the large bedside lamps and the flexible reading lamps by the comfortable bed. The gluten-free biscuits provided were a nice touch.

The room was a bit small, lacking space for a second chair.

The location of the accommodation is absolutely stunning, with views of the Thames and rowers passing by. The rooms are beautifully furnished with comfortable beds, spotless facilities, and nice added touches such as handmade pottery. The hosts go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, even setting up an outdoor dining area by the river. The facilities provided, such as stand up paddle boards and an Alexa device, add to the overall excellent experience.

We did not have enough time to fully enjoy all the amenities and beautiful surroundings.

The value for money was excellent, I couldn't believe how beautiful and well-furnished the room was. The location right on the banks of the Thames was stunning, and the hosts, Tim and Annie, were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay.

The breakfast menu could have offered a bit more variety.

The bed was super comfortable and the monsoon shower was a delight. We were welcomed with a personalized letter, Linder chocolates, homemade cookies, and filter coffee, which added extra special touches to our stay. The location on the riverside was beautiful, and it was within walking distance to town. Highly recommended for a fantastic stay.
