The location was stunning, with breathtaking views. The cottage itself was well-equipped and ideal for wheelchair users. It was all on one level, with no steps. The hospitality from the owners was exceptional. They provided a welcome hamper tailored to our dietary needs, including delicious homemade bread. Edward and Marion were friendly and helpful, recommending activities and places to visit. We also appreciated the facilities and the high standard of refurbishment in the cottage.

I had the most wonderful stay at this fabulous little cottage. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they even left a welcome pack for us upon arrival. The cottage itself was top class, set in a stunning location with beautiful views. I loved that there was a dog-proof decking area and fields nearby for walking our dog. The level layout of the cottage was perfect for wheelchair users, with no odd steps to navigate. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, filled with delicious homemade goodies. I can't wait to return to the peace and tranquillity of Valley View.

I had a fantastic stay at this cottage. The host, Edward, was absolutely fascinating to talk to and had a wealth of memories to share. The location was beautiful and offered stunning views. The cottage itself was well-maintained and spacious, with all the necessary amenities. I was greeted with a thoughtful welcome basket and fresh flowers, which added a nice touch. I can't wait to book again and hopefully meet Edward's wife, Marian, next time.

Value for money: We got great value for our money at Thatch Close Cottages. The room was comfy and had gorgeous views, making our stay worth every penny.

The hotel breakfast menu could have been better with a wider variety of options. However, the lovely welcome pack with homemade bread and cakes made up for it.
