We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the town center and bus and rail stations. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The room was elegant and comfortable, with beautiful linen and all the necessary amenities. We also enjoyed the lovely garden area, perfect for relaxing in. we were very impressed with our stay here.

The location is great, just a short walk to both the train station and the bus station. It's also conveniently placed for exploring the town center. The hotel offers a communal area with a fridge and microwave, as well as crockery and cutlery, which is a nice added convenience.

The noise level can be a bit disruptive, especially if you're a light sleeper.

Great location near the bus and train stations, making it convenient for travel. The accommodation was clean and well-appointed, with spacious rooms and nice shower rooms. I appreciated the excellent breakfasts served by the accommodating ladies at the reception. The property had a lovely garden where I could relax and feel safe during these times. It was a bonus to have an outside accommodation with its own entrance, providing privacy and avoiding the need to go into the main building.

There was some noise from the road outside, which could be slightly disturbing. The courtyard could be noisy early in the morning, causing some disruptions.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The location was perfect for a city break, as it was close to Bury town centre and within easy reach of the A14. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. Additionally, having onsite parking was extremely convenient.

My recent stay at The Abbey Hotel in Bury St. Edmunds was absolutely fantastic! The warm welcome from the owner and the friendly and efficient staff at breakfast made my experience even more enjoyable. The room was beautifully warm and elegantly decorated in a traditional style. I also appreciated the convenience of free parking and WiFi, as well as the coffee and tea facilities in the clean and lovely bedroom. The location was perfect, as it was just a short 15-minute walk to the town center where I could find various restaurants and shops. I was extremely satisfied with my stay and would happily recommend it to others.

I recently stayed at a lovely, quaint hotel with exceptional staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The room was charming and the bed was so comfortable that I slept a solid 12 hours every night. The breakfasts I had were delicious, and the young lady serving them was friendly and made the mornings enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel provided a public car charger, although it was a bit pricey at £10 per charge. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and this hotel has become one of my favorites.

The room we stayed in was quite small and could use some updating. The shower was very noisy and had poor water pressure.

The value for money was excellent, and I loved my room - it was spacious, comfortable, and had charming traditional features. The location was perfect, in a quiet area but still convenient for exploring the town.

The food for breakfast could have been improved with a better selection.

We particularly enjoyed the warm and cozy atmosphere of the hotel, which was a welcome change from our busy lives.

The shower was small and cramped, making it difficult to move around. there was no drinking water available in the room, which was inconvenient at times.

I recently stayed at this charming hotel in Bury St. Edmunds for a few nights. The historic building itself is lovely, and my room had plenty of character and space. I was pleased with the generous amount of power sockets and tea bags available. The cooked-to-order breakfast was a highlight, especially with the addition of Lowestoft kippers on the menu.
