Brekkie was off the charts - beats out Hilton any day. Staff were gems, even rustling up a brekkie to go for our early start. And can we talk about the dinner?

Pool team got a bit rowdy, and the wifi's a bit ancient. But who cares when you're living your best foodie life here?

During my Christmas stay, there were a couple of things that I really liked about the hotel. the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was definitely one of the best breakfasts I've had during my travels. Another positive aspect was the location of the hotel. It was situated in a lovely area, with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the holiday season. Lastly, I really enjoyed the fact that the staff were always willing to help.

There were a couple of negative aspects that I experienced during my Christmas stay. the bed in my room was not very comfortable.

Great location, clean room, and friendly staff. The room had a kettle with coffee and tea, which was very convenient. The breakfast was fantastic, with a lovely full cooked meal. The owners were fantastic people, always ready to help if needed. The evening meal was also amazing, with a talented chef who cooked delicious food.

The heating in the room didn't work well at night, making it very cold. A squeaky mattress/bed in the single room was also a bit bothersome.

Beautiful exterior, lovely village, brilliant staff, dog-friendly, inviting, convenient parking.

One reviewer mentioned that the wifi in the hotel is not very strong, although it is still usable for streaming platforms like YouTube and Netflix.

Warm and friendly staff, clean and fresh en-suite room. Noise from the bar, as expected. Enjoyed a delicious steak pie and chips dinner. Highly recommend the ESPRESSO martini! Lovely full cooked breakfast. Would stay again if attending nearby fair.

They were attentive, polite, and friendly, making it feel more like meeting up with old friends than a hotel stay. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with safe storage space for my bicycle and a fantastic shower in my room. The location was also great, providing a convenient base for exploring the area. The breakfast was exceptional, with a delicious made-to-order meal that set me up for the day. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, breakfast, and staff were the standout aspects of this hotel.
