the bed was comfy, and the sea view was lovely. the breakfast had an amazing variety of choices. the staff went above and beyond to assist me, even making sandwiches when the kitchen was closed. They truly understand customer service. the location was brilliant, with beautiful views over Stokes Bay and Stanley Park. the recently refurbished rooms were comfortable and the showers were lovely.

During our stay at Alverbank, we were impressed by the incredible sea view from our room. The location right by the water is absolutely stunning. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even accommodating our late arrival by organizing takeout for us and setting up a cozy spot by the log fire. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a newly refurbished bathroom. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast, especially the delicious croissants. we had a lovely experience at Alverbank and would definitely stay there again.

the location of the hotel was perfect, with the sea right at our doorstep. We were welcomed by the friendly and welcoming staff, Billy and Claire, who made us feel right at home. They were always there to help with any needs and gave us fantastic recommendations for things to do. the food at the hotel was exceptional, and we ended up extending our stay because we were having such a great time. We highly recommend Alverbank and can't wait to visit again!

I even tried to extend my stay, but unfortunately, they were fully booked. I will definitely return in the future.

The hotel is situated in a nice quiet area, tucked away in a beautiful park. It is the perfect location for a peaceful getaway, with the sea just a stone's throw away. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious, and you can enjoy it while overlooking the stunning view of the Solent.

The tables for two in the restaurant are a bit small, which can be a minor inconvenience if you order multiple dishes.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect on Stokes Bay, just a stones throw from the sea. They even boxed up our breakfast so we could have it after our morning run, and were very attentive to our puppy. We also enjoyed sitting on the terrace overlooking the sea for our meals.
