During our recent stay, we were delighted with the beautiful surroundings and charming exterior of the pub. Set in the picturesque Devon countryside, the location was truly remarkable. The 16th-century coaching inn provided a quaint and historic ambiance that added to our overall experience.

While there were a few minor issues, such as the limited space in the room and occasional noise from ongoing renovations, these were outweighed by the numerous positives. The quality of the food was commendable, and we appreciated the attention to detail in the room's facilities, including the smart TV that allowed us to relax and unwind.

Excellent staff throughout, from reception to restaurant to breakfast. Room sizes are standard and well arranged. All necessary amenities are provided. Restaurant offers superb food with perfect flavor combinations. A hidden gem worth returning to.

Spent Christmas here with my partner. the room was cozy and warm and the Christmas decorations were a nice touch. the staff were friendly and accommodating. the location was great, near to the village and perfect for a quiet Christmas getaway. the restaurant offered a nice selection of dishes and the breakfast was tasty.

The hotel could definitely benefit from some renovations. the decor was outdated and could use some modernization.
