The Anchor Inn is located right on the shore of the loch, offering stunning views of the water. Not far from Arrochar, it is also conveniently situated near to West Loch Lomond and the Arrochar Alps. The rooms are comfortable, immaculate, and recently redecorated. The staff is warm, friendly, and always eager to help. Breakfast is fantastic, with a variety of options to choose from. The view from the window adds to the overall charm of the accommodation.

One minor drawback is that the hotel is situated on top of a shop, which occasionally causes noise disturbances when its shutters are opened noisily at 5 am.

The Scottish breakfast was perfect, the bed was super comfortable, and the picturesque view of the loch was amazing on a clear day. the separate building rooms were perfect for us, as we were looking for a bit more privacy. Plus, we really appreciated the complementary black pudding and the warm welcome we received from the staff.

That the hotel is also a local pub, so it can get quite busy and noisy in the evenings. However, this didn't really bother us, as we enjoyed meeting and chatting with the locals and trying some of the pub's food and drinks.

The Anchor Inn in Garelochhead is perfect for couples. The staff are friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist guests. The food is outstanding, especially the homemade steak pie and unique garlic bread. The accommodation offers fantastic views of the loch, with comfortable beds and spacious rooms. a highly enjoyable experience.

The hotel facilities were great, especially the use of the laundry room, kitchen, and sitting room. Free WiFi was a huge plus, making it easy to stay connected during my stay. The staff were incredibly helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable about the area. The location was perfect, right on the Loch and away from the main pub, providing a peaceful and scenic environment. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and kept me satisfied until lunchtime. I was thoroughly impressed with the appearance of the accommodation and the level of comfort it provided.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the bar was good. Room 5 was modern, very clean, and had good WiFi. there was ample secure parking available, which was a great advantage.

The rooms had poor soundproofing, making it impossible to sleep with the extremely creaky floors and noise from the room above.
