Cozy rooms, delicious meals, and friendly staff

the delicious meals, both for breakfast and dinner, were a highlight of my visit. the staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. One small improvement could be addressing noise disturbances from events happening outside the rooms.

Anchor Inn offers cozy mini-suites with kitchenettes, comfortable beds, and tasty classic cuisine. the friendly staff provides excellent service, and breakfast is varied and satisfying.

Just got back from a cozy stay by a pub. LOVED the rooms with a small kitchen and fridge. Breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely go back - even better than photos!

I had a fantastic stay at the Anchor Inn. the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. the accommodation exceeded my expectations - it was spacious and well-equipped, with a separate bedroom, a sitting room with a small kitchen, and a bathroom. the fridge was stocked with milk and bottled water upon my arrival, and there was plenty of tea, coffee, and sugar available. the highlight of my stay was the excellent full English breakfast, accompanied by a delicious fresh fruit salad. the location was also convenient, with Tewkesbury just 15 minutes away and Bourton on the Water and Stow on the Wold reachable in 30-35 minutes.

anchor inn is spotless and cozy - located near a lounge area. got local tips and tried a fantastic sunday carvery. the staff - especially the bar tenders - were super friendly.

My partner and I were on a weekend getaway and stayed at Anchor Inn. the beer garden was perfect for the hot weather. Great choice of ales, spirits, and a delicious Sunday carvery. Comfortable rooms with large fans. Breakfast was delicious, served by friendly staff. Lovely ambience, accommodating team, and spacious accommodations made our stay enjoyable.

Plus, the cozy pub atmosphere was as warm as a bakery on a Sunday morning. Cons: Not staying longer was a bummer, but even the creaky floorboards added charm. a tasty stay!

Absolutely mind-blowing stay at this warm and inviting traditional pub in a beautiful village. The spacious and super clean room with separate seating area and table was jaw-dropping. The fresh milk and fridge were a pleasant surprise. The freshly made breakfast was exceptional. Despite being a light sleeper, the only downside was the blind not covering the window completely. But hey, just bring an eye mask and you're good to go. The customer service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The food was a super delight, and the open warming fire in the pub added to the ambiance. We were given a whole apartment for the night, which was a bonus. The welcoming and friendly staff made our short stay unforgettable. The restaurant had a great menu and the breakfast was delicious. Can't wait to plan a proper holiday in this amazing place.

I always pick this spot. On my first visit, staff kindly arranged early check-in. It meets my needs with Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, Restaurant, TV, kettle. I rely on it for business trips.

We got great value for our money at the Anchor Inn. The room was much larger than expected, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The location was convenient, and the staff treated us with a warm welcome, making us feel right at home.

Food for breakfast could have had more options, perhaps some cereals or fruit.
