We had a fantastic few nights away at The Angel Inn for our Birthday and Anniversary celebration. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, with the staff even catering to my lactose intolerance. Thank you to the amazing team for giving us a much-needed break!

The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious. One of the highlights was the breakfast, where the servers were accommodating and patient with all of our requests, even providing gluten-free options. the restaurant atmosphere was enjoyable and the bathroom in our room was spacious with an excellent shower. a 5-star experience!

Located on the village 'high street', The Angel Inn offers a great atmosphere and delicious food for visitors to enjoy. The rooms are basic but adequate, with coffee making facilities and biscuits provided. The staff are helpful and friendly, providing a well-cooked breakfast with plenty of toast and coffee. The outside seating area is a bonus, perfect for children to play. The location, in a quiet Suffolk village, is picturesque, with a fine church nearby and the river close by.

Some guests have mentioned that the duvet cover in their room didn't appear to be clean, which was not very pleasant.

We stayed at The Angel Inn for a relaxing weekend getaway and had an incredible stay. The property was beautiful and well-maintained, the staff were charming and helpful, and the food was out of this world. The breakfasts were especially delicious, with patient servers accommodating our various requests, including gluten-free options. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner, although we were gently nudged out by 9 p.m. We will definitely be returning!

the staff were friendly, polite, and went above and beyond to accommodate us. the breakfast and evening meals were delicious, and our room was comfortable with a well-equipped en suite. We were impressed by the tasteful refurbishment of this gastropub, and the menu offered a great variety of pub grub and innovative dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options. the location was convenient, being just 3 miles from Southwold, and free parking was available. We loved the sustainable touches, such as the fresh milk in glass bottles. We will definitely be returning!
