The location of the hotel is great, surrounded by countryside and on the edge of a golf course. It was so peaceful and quiet, a perfect getaway from the city. The room was comfortable and cozy, with a king-sized bed that made for a good night's sleep. The owner was friendly and welcoming, offering suggestions for exploring the local area and hiking trails.

The WiFi signal was horrible, almost non-existent. It was frustrating to have to go outside or stand in the hotel foyer just to get a connection.

Laid back and Lovely

I recently booked a stay at a charming country house for a family visit. From the moment I arrived, the owner made me and my partner feel right at home in the lovely surroundings. The room was great, with a comfortable king-sized bed and it was even pet-friendly. We decided to treat ourselves to a cooked breakfast for just £5 extra, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were all amazing and took great care of us. We can't wait to come back to this laid back and lovely place.

The breakfast was excellent, with well-cooked and good quality products. the staff were very pleasant and helpful, always willing to assist with any queries or requests. the location of the property was ideal, as it provided a quiet and peaceful getaway.

there was no bar on-site, which meant there was no opportunity to enjoy a drink or have access to glasses. Lastly, our bottle of wine mysteriously disappeared from the room during the cleaning process.

The room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bathroom had a convenient corner bath with a shower over it. The breakfast was just what we wanted before our long journey home. The staff, especially those who served us at breakfast, were great. The area was lovely and quiet, perfect for a peaceful stay.

I also had trouble accessing the WiFi, which was a bit frustrating. Unfortunately, my black pudding at breakfast was rock hard, which was a letdown.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, allowing us to select our breakfast options and providing a list of local restaurants. The location was perfect, with easy access to the Cleveland Way and a quiet environment. Our dog had a great time too, with a comfortable outside room and close proximity to the beach.
